Exhumation literally means "taking out of the earth" and is derived from the Latin ex, which means "out of," and humus, which means "earth." In simple words, exhumation often refers to the removal of human remains in a forensic context. Process of Exhumation:- Getting the proper permission to disinter a body is the first and most important stage in the exhumation procedure. The following stage is to make sure that everyone who must be present will be there for the exhumation after the legal authority to do so has been fulfilled.
